With heavy hearts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Run for the Rescues 5K. Due to the current climate and the impact of the ongoing government shutdown, we know that many individuals and families are facing uncertainty — and this has understandably affected participation and planning for community events like ours.
We want to thank everyone who had already registered, volunteered, or spread the word in support of our mission. Your enthusiasm and compassion continue to inspire us.
While we won’t be gathering for the run this year, our work at the rescue continues — rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses and providing healing programs for veterans and individuals with special needs.
